FROZEN - 3DF Does a Tribute to Books-on-Tape

FROZEN © The Walt Disney Company

GOOD EVENING 3DF fans!

Our facebook page suddenly revived itself with the buzz of a new project in the works this evening. Well, this is it!

When I was growing up, one of my favorite things in the world were books-on-tape. Popping an audio cassette tape into the radio and following along in the accompanying book were all part of what led to the creation of 3DF. We are going to get things back up off the ground with a little tribute to the Days of Yesteryear, and what better way than with a recent favorite tale of mine, FROZEN!

Drawing inspiration from Hans Christian Andersen's The Snow Queen, Disney's FROZEN takes us on a journey to the kingdom of Arendelle. Fearless Princess Anna sets off to find her sister, Queen Elsa, whose powers of ice and snow have set the kingdom in the state of an eternal winter! With the help of mountain-man Kristoff and friendly snowman Olaf, will Anna be able to convince her sister to bring back summer?

3DF's take on the story will feature our veteran voice actors. Pam Larson is your guide as the narrator. James Hall is Grand Pabbie, the wise leader of the trolls. True Blue makes his return as Kristoff. Curt Rose will warm your heart as Olaf. Dylan Spencer takes charge as Prince Hans.

Making their 3DF debuts are Melissa Guck as Princess Anna and Amber Bernhardt as Queen Elsa.

Melissa has been a long-time 3DF supporter, a friend that I have self-proclaimed as our marketing department. Her energy and optimism make her a perfect match for Anna.

Amber Bernhardt is well-known on the Arizona comic/anime convention circuit as an amazing cosplayer. Recently at Phoenix ComiCon, she wowed the crowds as Queen Elsa, putting smiles on the faces of many from 3 to 103. I'm delighted to have her on board as the regal snow queen!

Script goes out to the cast soon, so stayed tuned!
