3DF Planning Christmas Project; "Christmas Toy" in the Running.

Photobucket

It may be early, even for a Christmas in July, but summer's always been the best time to cast and record a project.  Thus, 3DF is plotting a Christmas presentation to hopefully be recorded and mixed early, so that it may be ready for the 2011 Christmas season.

Under consideration is an audio production of Jim Henson's The Christmas Toy.  Originally aired as a holiday special back in 1986, it tells the story of what toys do when you're not around to see, particularly in preparation to meet new members to the family around Christmas.  "Leading man" Rugby the Tiger was the highlight of his owner's previous Christmas, and isn't too happy with the thought of another toy taking his spot as "Favorite Toy."

More information to follow, but stay tuned to the blog for news.
